Pricing, scheduling & booking

1. Do you work by the hour?

Most residential, move-in/out and vacation-rental jobs are quoted by the job based on the agreed scope, not as open-ended hourly billing. Extra work is priced and approved before we add it.

2. Do you work by the job?

Yes. We prefer a clear job price tied to a written checklist so you know the scope and price before work begins.

6. Do move-in or move-out cleans cost more?

Usually yes because they are more detailed and may include empty cabinet and drawer interiors and extra attention to vacated areas. Our current move-in/out starting price is $279, with the final quote based on size, condition and scope.

7. Do you take one-time clients or only weekly and biweekly clients?

Both. We accept one-time cleaning requests and recurring service. Weekly and every-two-week standard cleaning may qualify for a 10% recurring discount after the initial visit.

8. What if my regular cleaning falls on a holiday?

Holiday availability is limited. We confirm whether the visit will stay on the holiday or move to the nearest available date.

9. Do you charge more on holidays?

Holiday, after-hours, same-day or rush work may carry a premium when offered. Any premium is disclosed before you confirm the appointment.

10. What hours do you work?

Our normal residential service window is generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Vacation-rental turnovers, commercial work and special scheduling may use different confirmed windows.

11. Do you work weekends?

Weekend service is available on a limited, scheduled basis, especially for vacation-rental turnovers. Availability is confirmed before booking.

32. Do you offer a referral reward?

Yes. Our recommended referral program is a $25 cleaning credit after a new referred customer completes and pays for their first qualifying service. Referral credits are applied to future cleaning and are not cash payments.

33. Am I supposed to tip?

No. Tipping is always optional and never required. A sincere review or referral is also greatly appreciated.

37. Is there a cancellation or rescheduling fee?

Please give at least 24 hours' notice when possible. Same-day cancellations, last-minute lockouts or denied access may be charged up to 50% of the scheduled service. Genuine emergencies may be reviewed by management.

51. Do you schedule a specific return time?

Yes. Recurring visits are scheduled for a confirmed date and arrival window rather than left random.

52. Will you always come on the same day and time?

We try to keep recurring clients on a consistent schedule. Staffing, holidays, weather, property access and turnover demand can require adjustments, and we communicate changes as early as possible.

53. Do you show up on time?

We plan around a confirmed arrival window and expect our team to communicate promptly if a delay occurs.

60. Do you accept credit cards?

Available payment methods are stated on your quote or invoice before service. We only advertise a payment method after the corresponding payment system is active.

62. What if I forget to leave payment?

Payment is due according to the terms on your invoice. If an approved electronic or invoiced payment method is already arranged, the visit does not depend on leaving a paper check. Unpaid balances may pause future service until resolved.

Cleaning services & what is included

3. Do you only clean houses?

No. Panama City Sparkle cleans residences, condos and vacation rentals, and small offices across Panama City, Panama City Beach, the 30A corridor, Rosemary Beach and Sandestin.

4. Do you set up for parties or clean up after parties?

Party setup is not a standard service. Post-event cleaning may be considered as a custom cleaning quote when the scope is safe and clearly defined.

5. Do you do move-in and move-out cleans?

Yes. We offer move-in and move-out cleaning for empty homes, with water and electricity available during service.

17. Do you do laundry?

Laundry is not included in standard residential cleaning. It can be quoted separately for vacation rentals or as an approved add-on.

18. Do you do dishes or empty the dishwasher?

Dishes and dishwasher unloading are not part of our standard cleaning checklist. Light dish-related work can be discussed as an add-on before the visit.

19. Do you offer pet sitting?

No. We are a cleaning company and do not provide pet-sitting, walking, feeding or medication services as part of a normal cleaning visit.

24. Do you clean windows?

Reachable interior window cleaning can be quoted as an add-on. Exterior or high-access window work is only considered when it can be performed safely and is specifically included in the quote.

25. Do you clean offices?

Yes. We provide small-office cleaning with a custom checklist for shared surfaces, floors, trash, restrooms and break areas.

26. Do you detail cars?

No. Auto detailing is outside our normal cleaning scope.

27. Do you defrost freezers or clean refrigerators?

Empty refrigerator interiors can be quoted as an add-on. Freezer defrosting is not a standard service and requires advance approval because of appliance, food and water-management risks.

31. Do you do miscellaneous projects?

We can quote cleaning-related extras that fit our equipment, training and schedule. Handyman, repair, hazardous-cleanup and unrelated maintenance work are outside our normal scope.

34. Do you clean hot tubs?

No. Hot-tub, pool and water-chemistry maintenance are not part of our standard cleaning services.

54. Do you clean the same things every visit or rotate chores?

The agreed core checklist is completed every recurring visit. Rotating detail items or seasonal extras can be added when they are written into the service plan.

63. Do you water indoor plants?

Plant watering is not a standard cleaning task. Simple watering may be added only when the client gives clear written instructions; specialized plant care is not guaranteed.

Pets, children, products & home access

20. Can my pets stay in the room while you clean?

Friendly pets may remain in the home if they do not interfere with safe cleaning, but we prefer pets to be kept away from the active work area. Aggressive or highly anxious animals must be secured before service.

21. Can my children stay in the room while you clean?

For safety, children should stay out of the active cleaning area while chemicals, cords, wet floors or equipment are in use.

28. What products do you use on hardwood floors?

We use surface-appropriate products and follow manufacturer guidance. For hardwood, that generally means a suitable pH-neutral or manufacturer-approved cleaner with controlled moisture. We do not use a product simply because it is a popular household remedy.

29. Do you bring your own vacuum?

Yes, our crews normally bring the standard equipment needed for the agreed service unless a property requires a specific on-site system or product.

30. Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?

Yes. We normally provide company-approved supplies and equipment. If you require a specific product because of a surface, allergy or preference, tell us before the visit so we can determine whether it can be used safely.

35. What happens if the cleaner gets sick?

We do not want a sick employee working in your home. We will offer a qualified replacement when available or reschedule the visit.

36. Will you show up sick?

No. Employees are expected to report illness that could make working unsafe or expose customers, and management will adjust the assignment.

38. Do I need to give you a key or alarm code?

Not necessarily. Access can be arranged through a lockbox, smart-lock code, key, building desk or another agreed method. The method is documented before the appointment.

39. How do you protect my privacy if you have a key or code?

Access information is treated as confidential. It is used only for legitimate service purposes and shared only with the people assigned to the property.

40. Do you have a safe place for keys and codes?

We prefer secure lockbox or smart-code access. If a physical key is accepted, it should be stored with restricted access and not labeled in a way that identifies the property address.

41. Do I need to be home?

No. Many customers are at work or away during service. We simply need a reliable, authorized access method and any property-specific instructions.

55. Do you use environmentally friendly products?

We can discuss lower-odor or eco-conscious product preferences, but we do not describe cleaning as “chemical-free.” Product choice must still be effective, safe for the surface and used according to its label.

56. How do you know which products are safe for different surfaces?

We use product labels, Safety Data Sheets, manufacturer guidance, surface identification and employee training. When needed, we test in an inconspicuous area before broader use.

58. I work from home. Can I stay there while you clean?

Yes. We ask that you stay clear of the active work area so the team can clean safely and efficiently.

59. If I am working from home, will the cleaner talk to me the whole time?

No. Our cleaners are expected to be friendly and professional while staying focused on the work. We communicate when necessary and otherwise respect your workday.

Company, employees, safety & trust

12. How long has Panama City Sparkle been in business?

Panama City Sparkle L.L.C. was filed as a Florida limited liability company in July 2025. We focus on building trust through clear scopes, reliable communication, quality checks and current customer feedback rather than exaggerating years of experience.

13. What training do your cleaners receive?

Employees are trained on the assigned cleaning checklist, property-specific notes, surface and product methods, chemical safety, equipment use, privacy, damage reporting and final quality inspection.

14. Are you OSHA trained or OSHA certified?

There is no single general “OSHA-certified house cleaner” credential that we advertise. We train employees on applicable workplace-safety requirements, including hazard communication and cleaning-chemical safety, and maintain labels and Safety Data Sheet information as required.

15. Have you ever been fired from a house, and why?

We do not publish private details about former customer relationships. If a service relationship ends, we handle it professionally, protect customer privacy and use legitimate feedback to improve our processes.

16. Do you have references?

We can point prospective customers to public reviews and may provide a direct reference when a current or former customer has given permission. We do not hand out customer contact information without consent.

22. Are you bonded and insured?

We only represent bonding or insurance as active when the current documentation is in force and verifiable. If your property manager or contract requires proof, request a current certificate before service; we will not describe expired or unverified coverage as active.

23. Are you licensed to clean houses?

Panama City Sparkle is a Florida LLC. Routine house cleaning is not a Florida DBPR-licensed trade in the way contracting or cosmetology is, although local business-registration and tax-receipt requirements can apply. We do not claim a professional license that does not apply to the service.

42. Will the owner personally clean my house?

Not necessarily. Panama City Sparkle is being built as an employee-based company. The owner manages the business and quality system, while trained employees or teams may perform the cleaning.

43. Will one person or a team come?

It depends on the property, scope and schedule. A smaller job may have one cleaner; larger, detailed or turnover work may use a team.

44. Are the cleaners bonded and insured?

Any coverage applies according to the actual current company policy and the worker's status. If a contract requires proof, ask for current documentation before the job rather than relying on a marketing statement.

45. How do you screen people you hire?

Our hiring process includes identity and work-eligibility verification, application/interview review, job-related screening and reference checks when appropriate. Roles involving independent access to private homes receive additional scrutiny.

46. Do you run background checks or drug checks?

Background screening may be used for roles involving unsupervised property access and is handled through a lawful, consistent process. Drug testing may be used when required for a specific role, contract, safety concern or lawful company policy; it is not something we promise for every employee unless that policy is active.

47. Can a customer run a background or drug check on the owner or cleaner?

For a commercial or property-management contract with a legitimate screening requirement, we can discuss the proper consent-based process. Informal screening outside a lawful process is not appropriate.

48. How do you prefer to be contacted?

The online quote form and business email are the best ways to start because they create a written record of the request. We can use phone or text for follow-up when contact information is confirmed.

49. What happens if something gets broken?

We document and report accidental damage promptly. Management reviews the facts with the customer and handles repair, replacement or insurance steps when appropriate. Employees are not allowed to hide damage.

50. Will you tell my neighbors about my home or how messy it is?

No. Your home, habits, access information and service details are private. Employees are expected to protect customer confidentiality.

57. Do you operate under the table, or do you pay taxes?

Panama City Sparkle operates as a business and maintains invoices and records. Applicable taxes are handled according to the type of service. Florida treats qualifying nonresidential interior cleaning as taxable, while customers who use part of a home for business should ask their tax professional whether any portion of cleaning costs is deductible.

61. Do you guarantee your work?

We use a 24-hour re-clean promise for missed items within the agreed checklist: tell us within 24 hours and we will review the concern and, when appropriate, return to re-clean the affected area at no additional cleaning charge. This is a quality-correction promise rather than an unlimited money-back guarantee.
